It's currently windy and rainy outside, the perfect weather for curling up with a cup of tea and getting on with a blog post. We're all settled in at the flat now and my room is for the most part finished but there are still a few bits I need to get. It's quite a small room but I've managed somehow to get all of my stuff in with room to spare for a small bookshelf that I'm currently on the hunt for.

These are sat on my new-old desk which I picked up from a second hand store before my Dad left with the car. There was one in my room already but it was bright blue chipboard with coffee cup burns all over the top. Needless to say, it had to go!

My Polaroid wall's looking pretty empty at the moment, but I have another pack of film in the fridge (much to the amusement of my flat mates) to fill it out a little..

Having such a small room means there's not much surface space for displaying treasure; nearly all of mine has ended up sitting pretty on the one shelf I have in my room. I tried to photograph it as a single picture but I couldn't move far away enough to get it all in the shot, ha,
that's how small my room is. It's cosy though. It's also probably a good thing that my space is restricted because it'll make me think more about what I can afford to bring home.
Naturally, I've already paid a visit to all the antique shops and charity shops in my area and come up with a lamp shade that perhaps veers a little too much on the side of 'Grandma' (but I love it!) and yet another of those flower domes that I've become so fond of. Except this one is tiny! I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture but the flowers are real, which sort of detracts from the tackiness I think. Sort of. The little perfume bottle came from eBay. Looks like it belongs in a French boudoir, don't you think?
